I started work on this film more than ten years ago, but became discouraged when I learned that all of the 16 mm newsreel footage from the Louisville television stations had been callously tossed into dumpsters.

Recently, I have learned there are possibly some filmed interviews and am working to track these down.

Several interviews were recorded with Charlie Farnsley's contemporaries when the project was first started. And now, a small seed grant has been secured to start research and filming again.

If you have any "Charlie" stories I would be happy to hear them. This website will soon be set up to collect stories and photographs about this man and his legacy.
